Brent A. Senior, MD, FACS, FARS is Harold C. Pillsbury, III Distinguished Professor of Otolaryngology and Neurosurgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he also serves as Vice Chair of Academic Affairs and Outreach as well as Chief of Rhinology, Allergy, and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery.

Dr. Senior has lectured and instructed in nearly 450 national and international otolaryngology courses and authored 180 articles and chapters in the field. He has co-edited three textbooks, including "The Frontal Sinus" now in its second edition. Dr. Senior's passion for education has been honored with his receipt of "Teacher of the Year" awards while his clinical expertise has been honored with several "Top Docto" awards.

He has led Otolaryngology humanitarian missions to Vietnam for 25 years, work which led to his receipt of "International Volunteer of the Year" from the American College of Surgeons in 2021. He currently serves as Vice President of Development and Strategy of the American Rhinologic Society; Past-President of the International Rhinologic Society; Past President of the American Rhinologic Society; President of the Christian Society of Otolaryngology.
