Case reports

Rhinology Online welcomes Case reports of 900 words (max) text and with tables and figures.

Case reports submitted to Rhinology Online should: - Contribute to medical knowledge; - Include an up-to-date review of all previous cases in the field; - Have educational value that could benefit future patients; - Highlight the need for a change in clinical practice or diagnostic/prognostic approaches. - Preferably have good illustrations

Rhinology Online will not accept Case reports which describe preventive or therapeutic interventions, as these generally require stronger evidence.

Please describe how the Case report is unique or unusual along with its educational and/or scientific merits in a covering letter accompanying the submission of your manuscript.

Case reports must include a statement that written and signed consent to publish the information has been obtained from the patient(s) or their guardian(s) prior to submission Clinical photographs can be included, accompanied by a statement from the patient(s) with written consent to publish. (See Preparing your manuscript guidelines)

Case histories should be reported according to CARE guidelines
